8/21/07 - 3/3

So the Rufus concert was wonderful. Despite it not being the music I usually like, it was a good performance. I almost feel asleep a couple times. I especially liked the bands playing alongside of him. I forget the name of the first, but my favourite was The Magic Numbers anyways. Rufus is... so gay. So very very gay. I wish Gelise had been able to join us and that Tova had not stayed home, but it happens, I guess. Amerikin, Skelly, Anna, and I were pressed at the very front against the security gates. After the show a security guard asked AmeriKim and I who the biggest Rufus fan was and we said Anna so she got a towel he used. She also got a set list and I think a set list for the Magic Numbers.

08/21/07 - 1/3

Here's some pictures and a summary of what happened on 8/21/07. The agenda of the day is all of us plus on Amerikim a.k.a. Kimmie and Anna went to Salem. Afterwards, we got something to eat and returned in time to wander around in Boston before heading to the Avalon to see Rufus Wainwright. Very fun.

"In another era, John Adams would have needed Prozac."

Today has basically been an all-around slacking day. Unfortunately, the blue line between Airport and Government Center have been down for the weekend due to construction at Maverick. That made it very annoying yesterday when, at 3:30, I was called for a sudden interview at the boutique on Newbury Street. I ended up only being 10 minutes latel luckily and the man had waited for me. The interview went beautifully and he said I would know in a few days after he returned from a trade show in New York. The boutique is called Lalo. As I was saying though, we aren't heading out today due to it being so hard to get around since the T is down.

Anyways, so far today I have uploaded a bunch of pics (check the five entries before this) of our house. Then Tova and I watched the beginning of the second season of KaleidoStar. And... it seems Gelise just came home from work and forced us to... to... Well.. Now Gelise is forcing me and Tova to watch some History Channel video about the founding fathers. I'm good with watching The Tudors on showtime, but this? This is just torture. Cruel and Unusual Torture.

Let's see.. I can either play video games, try to work on Kimglish's birthday present, work on Chapter 3 of "As the Beat Goes on", read another book, or go insane.

I choose go insane.

Home Sweet Home

Now, last but not least, beautiful pictures of our home. In no specific order.

Moving In... The Last Part, I swear

Another day, Tova, Gelise, Skelly, and I all visited the Museum of Science. I still vote that Cosi in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio is better, but they disapprove.

Then, on the 15th Anna arrived from Texas. Skelly spent the whole day worrying about meeting her and they seem to get along great.

When Anna and Skelly went out, Gelise and I ventured to the beach.

Moving In.... Part 3/?

Okay, so this really is not us moving in. It is more us getting attached to our surroundings. We went without internet for so long that eventually... We just did dramatic readings of The Crucible.

Later, we went to explore the beach at night.

Moving In... Part 2/?

After my lovely interview on Tuesday at DialogueDirect (I did not get the job), Skelly and I were invited by AmeriKim, as we call her, to see The Remus Lupins and The Whomping Willow play at some little joint. It was full of people and I was amused by those I met. With exception to the three skanky girls in front of us who Skelly had to tell me I could not hit, kick, or shove. Whompy did not like it when I kicked Skelly. However, we soon realised one important thing... The Remus Lupins suck while The Whomping Willow is the shit.

Moving In Part 1/?

Beware the overload of pictures! I'll have little things written for each picture. Because I can. Ha! Sorry, I need coffee. Coooooffee.

Moving on to the pictures... Breaking in the House! )
