The Wizarding World has seen its fair share of suffering, such as the reign of Lord Voldemort that occurred not once, but twice. But, as it was foreseen, good triumphed over evil and the world gained peace. It seemed to be everlasting for witches and wizards everywhere, a great relief to those who feared the worst in the midst of rebuilding. Twenty-five years later, someone now threatens to destroy the peace that has come to be, though not in such a way that would strike fear in the general public. It's much worse: Hogwarts has a new Headmaster and the students aren't going to like him.

Tiberius Ogden was just appointed the position of Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the summer, the former Headmaster, Matthew Harrison, having abruptly retired when he suddenly came upon a very large sum of money. The Ogden name is famous for its liquor, though Tiberius has no interest in making drunks out of his peers. No, Tiberius Ogden followed another path, one of strict behavior that came with wielding a firm hand rather than a tap. A retired Hit Wizard, Tiberius has known a life of hardship and determination and believes that today's youth are becoming weak-minded prats. As a way to change this, he quickly took up the position Headmaster Harrison wished to discard.

Students will be in for quite the shock when they return to school to have their yearly start of term feast. Not only are they receiving a new Headmaster, but he comes with a whole new set of rules - rules so numerous in count that a book of them was created - something each student will find at their seat.

There is a time to learn.

Time to grow.

Time to change.

Time to kill.

And that time is now. Twenty years into the future, things are different. Things aren't what they used to be or what they should be. Nathan Petrelli is president. The secrets the Company kept have been blown wide open for the public to see and for the government to use. Everyone has an ability. The power is cheap, used and normal.

It's all about the power. Who has it and who knows how to use it. The government has succeeded in creating an elite group of super-powered soldiers. They are 'affectionately' called the 'Supers' by the public. The Supers are the governments weapon against any opposing force and it makes them unstoppable, free to do whatever they want. Who could stop them?

To keep their experiments under control, each Super has a chip implanted into their brain and only the president has access to these chips, only the president can control the Supers. Security, the government calls it. Imprisonment, is how the Supers see it. But their duty is to their country and to the president. They are to protect the innocent and destroy the corrupt. Little do they know that their dear president is a serial killer known as Sylar in disguise and he has the power to make them do whatever he wants, to kill whoever he wants.

Except some of the Supers have found a way to destroy the chip. Rumor is the Rebellion is behind it, that they discovered a 'loop hole'. Scientists are suggesting a malfunction. Whatever the reason, it's made Sylar edgy. Some of the most powerful people are now on the Rebellion's side and they're not afraid of taking the fight to him. But the Rebellion has a better idea.

To defeat the Sylar of the future, they must go and find him in the past, before he became Sylar. No one knows who the man used to be but there are whispers, things their parents told them, clues that will lead them to find the man before he became a monster. Time travel is tricky, delicate and dangerous. But there is no other choice. Sylar has to be stopped.

How far back will they have to go to defeat him?

Can they truly change the future or is destiny unstoppable?

And what will they do when one of their own betrays them?

Join the heroes and the villains as they traverse through time.

BUMPH: A HP POST-WAR AND NEXT GENERATION RP!

The war that shook the wizarding world to its core is over. Harry Potter defeated the Dark Lord and life went on; Hogwarts reopened its doors. The students that chose to go back to finish their education did not all go willingly, but Headmistress McGonagall was determined to make their last year better than the ones before. However, she was worried; the war had changed them all. So in order for her students not to keep everything bottled up, she came up with a project. She gave all of them journals, and spoke an enchantment to connect them with each other. This way, the students could out their feelings and interact with each other whenever they pleased.

At the exact same date but twenty-five years later, Headmistress Poe had the same idea; she had heard of the project and thought of it as a great way for her students to interact more outside of their house. So it was with two decades in-between them that Headmistress McGonagall and Headmistress Poe spoke the exact same enchantment and, unbeknownst to them, caused a rift through time.

Now imagine your surprise when you write in your journal, and your mother from twenty years ago writes back? Of course the next generation students thought this was an opportunity they couldn’t miss. The Headmistresses have no idea how to fix it, and as long as they don’t give away any information that could change the future, absolutely nothing can go wrong! How hard can this be?

Well, harder then they think, because even though they know who their parents are, the parents have no idea who they are and strong bonds, maybe a little too strong, are formed. How long can the kids keep their identity a secret?

It’s going to be a BUMPHy ride, that’s for sure.

We all know the story of New Moon, but what if things didn't end the way that they did?

The year is 2005, and emotions are running high. Edward left Bella in a state of heartbreak and confusion, which only pushed her closer to Jacob Black. Even after learning about Jacob's little secret, Bella found that she couldn't keep herself away from him. He had become her best friend and the source of light in her life, and eventually feelings began to develop between the two of them. Meanwhile, Edward stayed away from Bella as he had promised her, and therefore couldn't see how broken she had been during his absence. It was only after Bella's cliff-diving mistake that her life began to turn upside down again. Rosalie told Edward that Bella had died, which forced him to make an irrational decision to go to Italy and face the Volturi. Alice came to check on Charlie, and instead found Bella alive and well when Jake had taken her to her house.

But what if Bella had never gone to Italy? What if Edward returned to Forks the day after Alice came to check up on Chief Swan because he just had to see the truth for himself? And what if the recent murders in Seattle reached Edward's ears once Carlisle found out about them? Will the battle against this new threat be the greatest one of their lives, or will the task that Edward has to face in order to get Bella to believe him be greater?

ABOUT
Hogwarts Mish Mash is an INVISION BOARD Harry Potter Crossover RPG set in the year 2019 - two years after the Epilogue in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

All three Potter children and their Weasley cousins are now students at Hogwarts but aside from following their adventures, the RPG's plot also incorporates characters from crossover worlds such as Little Women, The Virgin Suicides, Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Dexter, True Blood, Weeds, Skins, 10 Things and many more.

Prior knowledge of the crossover books and shows is unnecessary, as they are fully explained in our CROSSOVER CHARACTERS GUIDE. Crossover Characters can simply be treated like Original Characters by roleplayers who are unfamiliar with their personalities.

This explosion of new characters has created a veritable cornucopia of new plot ideas and interactions that has never been experienced before in the world of Harry Potter.

PLOT
Thanks to their mutual admiration of the original Marauders, James Potter II (Harry and Ginny's eldest son) and his best friends at Hogwarts – Aidan Weasley (son of Charlie Weasley and Katie Bell), Liam Finnigan (son of Seamus Finnigan and Lavender Brown) and Noah Longbottom (son of Neville Longbottom and Hannah Abbott) have formed their own version of the original quartet. They call themselves the Marauders Revival and aspire to have their own fair share of thrilling exploits while at school. They’ve even gone so far as to become illegal animagi, and have achieved this with the help of the Charms Professor, Marisa Coulter. Of course, unbeknownst to them, Professor Coulter had her own reasons for divulging her secrets.

Marisa Coulter (from the 'His Dark Materials' novel trilogy) is a new professor at Hogwarts, and possibly the most charming being to ever step foot inside its walls, but her outward persona is nothing more than a facade that she uses to hide her extreme prejudice against those of the non-human variety (e.g. werewolves, veela, vampires, centaurs, house elves, etc.). She believes that they are undeserving of the new rights and pro-non-human legislation afforded to them by the Ministry of Magic. Marisa has created a secret coalition of anti-non-human wizards and witches named The Coulter Circle. Marisa’s rules are strict: no one in The Coulter Circle is to display their anti-non-human sentiments publicly. In order to avoid suspicion or detection, they are to accomplish their goals covertly, while appearing to sympathise with non-human causes.

In time to come, the vampires, werewolves and veela will have to unite, overcoming their disdain toward one another in order to put a stop to The Circle's non-human agenda.

The Circle's activities at Hogwarts fuel a chain of events that will intertwine not only with the lives of the Marauders and their and friends, but also with those of the numerous Crossover Characters we have brought into the wizarding world. All in all... a suspenseful journey ahead.

World’s End is a panfandom game focusing on the survivors of destroyed worlds, and what they choose to do afterward. Some try to eek out a new existence at “The World’s End,” a world many of the displaced arrived at after the destruction of their home world. Others seek to combat what is commonly called “the darkness,” the eater of worlds, and prevent it from corrupting and destroying even more worlds. Some study “The Door” at The World’s End, and the machinery left behind by Ansem the Wise, hoping to gain information that may allow them to restore the lost worlds and those who lived there.

The outlook is bleak, and oblivion waits just outside the door, but they aren’t called “survivors” for no reason, and there may be a way to fix this yet. But they’ll have to work with strangers to do it, if they don’t destroy themselves from within first.

In a world where religion no longer holds the sway it once did, demons and angels seem an archaic concept, beings of a bygone era. And maybe they are, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Demons let people forget. After all, it's easier to cause trouble when your victims don't fight back. They faded into the background - some of them successfully integrated into society. They took on human form. And now, demons are everywhere - they could be your next door neighbour, they could be your best friend, your boss, your doctor.
	Whoever they are, they're plotting your downfall. Because the old tales had it right - demons, whatever type of demon - want one end. They want to break things. They live for it, exist for it, will kill and die for it.
And, mostly, for centuries, they've wreaked their destruction and chaos from the shadows, but now the world is changing. Now the supernatural is restless, and they are rising. Spirits can be seen by all, lycanthropes have declared themselves to the world on national television.
NOW IS THE TIME TO RISE AGAIN - TO TAKE THAT STEP BACK OUT INTO THE WORLD ONCE MORE. IF YOU DARE.

Have you ever craved something a little different without ever knowing exactly what it was?

Well, here at The Other Side, we'd like to indulge you. Enable you, free you.

We understand the appeal of crack!comms. Getting to create a character all your own with a little dash of canon thrown in. You always wanted the Malfoys to have a daughter. Or maybe you wanted all of the Weasleys to be boys? Or perhaps you were always a sucker for Severus/Lily and were always upset that they never ended up together. That's what crack!comms offer you. Freedom of creativity. We admire that.

However, on the other side, we understand the appeal of a normal, plot based canon game. While not nearly as unrestricted as a crack!game, it gives you plot to work off of and create a story with. It brings you stability and sometimes it's just nice to sit back and play a canon character you happen to love, no alterations needed, right?

So, at our game, we decided to dip our fingers in both soups. The Other Side is an Alternative Universe Harry Potter game. In 2001, with Second War alumnus returning for a sudden reunion, they quickly find themselves sucked into another world altogether. Being no common magic, everyone is alarmed and confused. Given housing of their own for the time being, they come to realize that they're not the only ones stuck in such an intensely abrupt situation. With them, huddled all under one Inn's roof, are various alumnus from the First War. Funny thing is, they don't seem to know anymore about what happened then the rest of them.

This new world is an alternative take on how the war could have gone. With Bellatrix leading the head of a vicious group of assassins called the Moraie, she stands tall as conqueror of Britain with her husband Rodolphus and their adopted son, Neville. It seems as if she had a different take on how to deal with the "Chosen One" the Prophecy spoke of. Surely raising him would be enough to cancel it out? So she hopes. And, where is Albus Dumbledore in all of this, you might ask? Disappearing shortly after the crumbling of the Order and Bellatrix's rise to power in 1981, he has been neither seen nor heard from in twenty years. Aberforth was kind enough to take over the position of Headmaster of Hogwarts after his brother's disappearance and is hoping that with the arrival of all of these new visitors that perhaps reinstating the Order to what it once was will bring Albus back for good.

*Mod Note: Nearside is a social game, focused on character development and looking for serious writers. You won't find zombies, murders, big-name celebrities, vampires, or people waving around magical wands. Nearside is a game where talented writers have a chance to simply play out various storylines in a relaxed atmosphere.
