Tap-tap-tap of shoes on the Great Hall floor. The odd sound in the lull of silence. People moving across the room to get a better look. Harsh eyes, judging him. He was not right for a child of the great Potter. The whole world weighed down his shoulders. All eyes on him, waiting for him to break. Waiting for him to admit what a failure he was, thinking he could be good enough for his lover.

"Scorpius." A soft whisper in his ear, jolting him. A delicate hand on the small of his back, a tilted head resting on his shoulder. The boyfriend of Scorpius Malfoy. The spawn of great Harry Potter. The Potter-Malfoy rivalry in lust incarnate.

His head turned, a smirk on his face. They can not break him. They can not break them.

"Next year, I'm deciding on the costumes. A bride and groom is a little too much." Next year, Albus Severus would be wearing the dress.
