Title: Compatability
Completion: Complete
X-posted: lj.com
Words: 800
Rating: NC-17
Pairings: Conrad/Yozak
Author's Notes: Written as a birthday present to my friends the twins.

The night wind seemed to be working against The Dry Wind, making the forbidden machine rattle as if it were nothing special. The thought of such a thing brought a half-smirk and low chuckle from Yozak as he leaned against the railing of the balcony, his arms folded under him, resting on the stone. His blue eyes shifted to gaze at the dark area where his quiet companion stood.

“Curious?” His eyes shifted back to focus on The Dry Wind at the sound of Conrad’s voice. Ha, as if the maids had not been making a big deal of it the last few days. As if the entire castle was not creating a fuss over the possibilities The Dry Wind created.

“Would you believe me if I said no?” Conrad’s lips twitched in a smirk as he moved to stand next to his comrade. Yozak straightened up, acting like he was trying to get a better look of the forbidden machine. Conrad’s hand touched his arm lightly, creating a smile on the redhead’s face. Okay, so maybe that was the reason he liked standing next to the commander. Occasionally, if no people were looking, the commander would give the gentlest of touches. Even when they were at war, those touches were what helped him go on.

“You heard of Huber and Nicola?”

“Of course. Do you think anybody hasn’t?” Yozak laughed, his mind whirling about possibilities with the machine. As of now it was just an old machine that told of love compatibility. It did not even do that well though. “It’s ridiculous.”

“Hmm?” Conrad was staring at the machine, seeming to be lost in thought. Yozak joined him in looking down at The Dry Wind, just enjoying the silent companionship. They couldn’t risk much when the castle was in a hectic state. Which meant almost every time the Maou was back.

“Let’s go.” Before he knew what was happening, the commander had tightened his grip on his arm and was pulling him through the empty corridors.

“Commander?” For a moment Yozak wondered if maybe Conrad was possessed. “Commander?” He inhaled sharply when he felt hands pressing against his sides, moving down his body.

Lips were on Yozak’s throat, making it hard for him to concentrate enough on words, let alone speak. “Just Conrad.”

“Right, Ju-“ His witty retort was cut off as Conrad pressed him back against cold metal. Cold metal? Yozak tried to look around, tried to focus on anything other than how Conrad’s hands were gliding over his lower frame and those lips were traveling down his neck to press against his collarbone.

“Commander…” His voice felt thick as he felt Conrad’s hands working against the fabric of his pants. His body seemed to arch into the touch. “Conrad!”

His head fell back to rest on the frame of what he could now tell was The Dry Wind. He barely remembered getting through the castle. It figured Conrad would have such an effect on him.

Shaking away any thoughts of forbidden machines, Yozak searched for his lover’s lips. There were much better ways to spend his time at the moment. Besides, they were taking a risk since any guard or maid could come by. It was driving him mad. His body tensed as he felt the pads of Conrad’s fingertips working under the fabric of his trousers, caressing his stiffness.

“Ah-Conrad!” His hands sought out the commander’s head, pulling him up for a needy, heated kiss. Conrad’s lips stifled his cries of pleasure. Their mouths trembled together as he reached his climax, his frame rising to press against the commanders as he released. He faintly heard an odd noise coming from the machine, the soft boop-boop-boop bringing his eyes to the top of The Dry Wind. The pink light spread to fill only a little over half the wheel.

“What do you know, we’re only 65% compatible.” Yozak let out a low laugh as he watched the commander clean his hand, Conrad’s eyes watching the love meter.

It really was broken. “Still better than Huber and Nicola though.” They both smiled at each other. “My room or yours?”

“Mine. In case the Maou needs anything.” This time Yozak managed to hold back rolling his eyes. He was getting better.

“Heard Gunter and Gwendel only had 35%. That would explain the arguing between them earlier.” Yozak thought back to earlier in the day. Really, it couldn’t be called arguing if the only one making a fuss was Gunter. Gwendel seemed to only frown and try to hide like he usually did with Anissina.

“Hm.” Conrad’s lips twitched, agreeing with a low chuckle. He had to resist a full laugh when Yozak pulled him aside in one of the smaller storage rooms. Well, the Maou could handle himself tonight.
